Merville Weekend #2 and Other Random Thoughts
Spent the last two weekends at Bong's house. We haven't been able to spend as much time together as we would want since he started working, so our little weekend sleepovers are good for much needed quality time. I help him with his homework too, since he's working and studying at the same time and I've just been watching a lot of TV, as you can see in my previous post. It also gives me a chance to really get to know his family. His dad has actually taken an active interest in domesticating me. Next weekend we're going to the palengke for my first lesson. I mentioned this to my mom today coz I was trying to get her to agree that I've been picking up little tips on grocery shopping from her. I'm her loyal supermarket assistant kasi. Guess what her answer was?

"Really? You don't look at prices, you don't look at what I'm picking up and you have your own thing while we do the groceries."

I push the grocery cart though... Haha. This whole domestication of me is gonna take a lot of work...

Moving on, my barakada had our annual Christmas dinner last friday at Jan-B's house. It was really fun seeing everyone again, specially now that most of us are so busy. I think we're on our 6th Christmas already, tama ba girls? We're all so excited to see Ira's baby already! I actually got to feel it kick right before we left Jan-B's. We're at that age already where we start attending weddings of our closest friends and baptisms of their children. I don't feel THAT old though. Hehe. I'm actually pretty excited about all of this.

Oh guess what? 7 stickers to go and I'll have my 2006 Starbucks Planner! I actually wasn't planning on getting one this year since I'm not allowed to drink coffee yet plus I don't have much money these days. But I usually wait for Bong after class at Starbucks and I just looove their peppermint hot chocolate... And lucky for me I have friends and relatives willing to spend on Starbucks, which means stickers for me! Yay! 7 to go, does anyone want to help me out?Ü

Speaking of Starbucks, Bong and I stopped at Starbucks Madrigal on our way to my house earlier and we caught the ATC fireworks display. I'm a big sucker for fireworks. They're so pretty! We actually tried to take a picture but we couldn't get the timing right so we ended up with a lot of blurry shots and nothing really pretty. Maybe we'll try again next week.

I miss listening to Wolfgang. Kakainis kasi, I can't find my old casette tapes. Hahaha. I knew I should've just gone ahead and bought the CDs while they were still easy to find.

Yun na muna, inaantok nako. Goodnight everyone!Ü
